WiSys has named Jessica Martin Eckerly, CEO and Co-Founder of Forward BIOLABS and a University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point alumna, as a 2025 Innovation Champion.
“I’m deeply honored to receive the WiSys Innovation Champion Award. This recognition reinforces the importance of building collaborative, supportive environments where innovation can thrive,” Eckerly said.
In 2017, she co-founded her business, Forward BIOLABS, a non-profit life science lab dedicated primarily to early-stage start-up companies. At Forward BIOLABS, companies have access to 400 shared pieces of lab equipment and resources to connect with investors.
