In the years since graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I’ve found myself back on campus more often than I ever imagined. It’s partly due to my pride in being a Badger, but mostly because of my deep passion for working with students and staying connected to the academic world.
Since graduation, I’ve made a point to keep in touch with my professors and mentors at UW-Madison. Occasionally, I’m invited back to share my experiences as an international student, my transition to full-time work, and life running my non-profit, My Home Stars, from the USA while supporting initiatives back home in Uganda.
