Hazelnut field day

Description: This field day will feature the experimental hazelnut varieties being grown on Josh Stolzenburg's Sandbox Farm. Hailey Shanovich, UMN, will discuss how to scout and identify each hazelnut insect pest, how to identify damage of each pest on your plants, and when (and if) to take action. Jason Fischbach will also introduce the UMHDI 1st Generation Hazelnut Selections and discuss the germplasm trial at Sandbox Farm.
