Hazelnut field day

Description: We'll start at the Ashland Go-First Farm near Ashland, WI to tour a brand new 3-acre hazelnut planting and learn what it takes to successfully establish hazelnuts. We'll then caravan up to Bayfield to see a mature hazelnut planting at the UMHDI Germplasm Trials. We'll then visit Superior View Farm in Bayfield to learn more about hazelnut seedling production and ongoing propagation research.
