Many finalist companies are UW-Madison spinouts or inventions, and/or were founded by UW students, faculty or alumni, including Atrility Medical, C-Motive Technologies, Re Mixers, Stellar Tech Girls, Stem Pharm, Voximetry, WiscMed and Yips Yogurt Chips. The UW-Madison Innovate Network and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) are among the event sponsors.
