For the Madison-area businesses looking for answers to some of the most pressing health and science questions of our time, sometimes it can be tough just to find a place to work.
Now, those businesses could soon have a new option, as one local real estate developer plans to turn a west side 1970s office park into leasable laboratory space.
SARA Investment Real Estate plans to convert the former Clock Tower office park at 6411 Odana Road, which it demolished last October, into a 159,000-square-foot lab facility called Velocity Station, the company said in a Monday press release. Located on 6.4-acres, the three-story building could house anywhere from one to six companies in units of at least 25,000 square feet.
