We were excited to have three undergraduate teams from UW-Madison compete in the 6thannual University Pitch Madness competition where they had a chance to win up to $6,000 in funding. Hosted by the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center, the event was held on Wednesday, July 19 at DePaul’s Lincoln Park campus where ten universities and 36 teams from the Midwest showcased their best student entrepreneurs.
Each team was provided with a table where attendees walked through and engaged with the students before voting for their favorite startup from each university. The top teams from each school presented a 3-minute pitch of their business to the entire audience and judges.
