A team from Last Lock, founded in 2019 by UW-Madison graduate and Minnesota native Jack Ryan, as well as the Stainless Steel Badgers, recent Mechanical Engineering graduates from UW-Madison who are currently or previously employed at Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove, are among the winners just announced for the Make48 competition held in Madison last August. Last Lock will advance to compete at the national competition, slated for March 2022, where one team can win $10k.
