Three UW-Madison startup teams traveled to Chicago to participate in DePaul University’s 8th Annual Pitch Madness Competition. While all of the teams exhibited multiple strengths and delivered excellent pitches to audience members, ClaimReady was voted the Audience Favorite and placed third in the overall competition.
In a world too often beset by natural disasters, ClaimReady (founded by Smyan Vinu, Arnav Mohanty, Aditya Parekh, Jayanth Balu, Soham Kundu) solves a vexing problem: compiling and submitting insurance claims for items destroyed in floods, wild fires, and tornadoes. Too often this is a tedious process and is the last thing a family should be worried about upon coming back to a flooded or burned out home.
ClaimReady uses AI to enable customers to take a quick scan of a room, instantly compiling any items of value. ClaimReady then stores these items so they can be easily uploaded in case of a disaster.
