Mechanical Engineering faculty Melih Eriten and Corinne Henak are finalists for the 2022 WARF Innovation Awards.
Eriten and Henak have developed a method for testing the mechanical and failure properties of soft materials using a non-contact, portable vibrometer that measures acoustic emissions. This can enable more accurate measurements in medicine, bioengineering, and food. Hear from the researchers about their product and the impact it can have via WARF’s video highlight.
